Week 20

Hi Everyone!

Weight 59.6kg/131lbs

MONDAY-SUNDAY Run/walk for 2 hrs/ free weights

My fitness has been making steady progress. I'm running faster now than 20 weeks ago and I can lift heavier weights.
On another note, I've been thinking about volunteering for the Elizabeth Fry Society for women that are waiting for trial. I want to volunteer there to get an insight into what goes on at court and what the people waiting think about the justice system and the police. I haven't had any contact with anyone that has commited any crime, so I think that this might be good experience for me.
I also want to go on a ride along, but these are very hard to come by. I will go on one someday!

Please leave comments & thanks for reading!**

  1. You are doing all of these fitness training to become a police officer? I thought you have to be a graduate of an academy and get a degree in Criminology to become a police officer.

  2. Trisha- You don't have to go to police academy in Canada. You need to pass some tests and a series of interviews. Then, you go into training. -And I have a degree in Psychology:)
