O Canada!

Hi Everyone!

I know that most of you are from the States, but I thought I'd share some information about Canada.
Capital: Ottawa
Population:33,311,400! (less than England!)
Leader: Prime Minster, Stephen Harper
Emblem: Maple Leaf
Animal: Beaver
Motto: From Sea to Sea

Canada's national police is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, RCMP.
The Rockies are in British Columbia. The highest peak is Mount Robson at 3,954m high.

Canadian sports are Hockey and Lacrosse (both sports are aggressive-players usually end up fighting each other).

There are many kinds of bears living in Canada: Grizzly bear, Polar bear, Black bear, etc

Those are the most famous things about Canada. When I asked others what they thought of Canada. They said this:
Cold
Big
Clean
Lots of nature/wildlife
Nice people (everyone is very pleasant here)
Multi-cultural
Inuit people

Have you ever been to Canada? What do you think of Canada? What's the first thing that springs to mind?

Please leave comments & thanks for reading!**

  1. I've been a few time because I went to school near Niagara Falls. I also went once with my family on a camping trip to the Thousand Islands. I'll be going to Toronto in a week. I have great memories of Canada, every time I went I've had such an amazing time.
