Week 14

Hi Everyone!

Weight 59.3kg


I'm diligently going to yoga. It makes me feel good, but I have noticed some side effects: my face is breaking out (I've never experienced acne before), I'm not losing any weight, I'm getting bored of doing the same poses over & over again, my purse is a lot lighter, I don't feel fitter (I feel more flexible) and my appetite has decreased.

I'm actually a bit relieved that I only signed up for 5 weeks. I don't think I would like to do it for a year. I feel a bit vain, but I do not appreciate the acne & lack of weight loss! I'm going to start running again when I finish with hot yoga and I'll do regular yoga on the side.

  1. have you tried pilates? i prefer pilates to yoga - but it all depends on what you're looking for.

    i find that pilates gives me increased flexibility and core strength, along with a tough workout. you can almost control how hard you work, with how much effort/repetition you choose to put in. i ache during my classes (sometimes they are TORTURE) and i ache after my classes.
